piCture pOlish Majesty and Attitude Review

I think you all know how much I love piCture pOlish, but in case you didn't, I have two new reviews to share ;)
You can buy these here or just Majesty here. Since the links are for different prices, I'll just average it out and say it costs about $12 for 11 mL.
I put these two together in one review since they're both technically flaky holos, but Majesty is really so much more than that. You'll see what I mean...

Attitude is in the same category as Ocean, O'Hara, and Cosmos, to name a few. It's a very pretty dark violet with tiny flecks of holo-ey goodness.
Opacity: 4.5
Application: 5
Wear: 5
Removal: 5
# of coats: 2
Base and top coat: none

The real star of the show is Majesty. This polish really is majestic in every way. Aside the fact it's mainly gold, there's also a somewhat pink duochrome color shift, and the entire polish is a soft, flaky holo. I cannot explain to you how stunning I find this polish.
Opacity: 2.75
Application: 5
Wear: 5
Removal: 5 (comes off like a creme)
# of coats: 2
No base or top.

LOOK at that color shift!! Pictures do not do this polish justice!!

Majesty might be one of my favorite piCture pOlish colors of all time...

piCture pOlish "Glitters" review- Dorothy, Orbit and Sea Jewel

I decided to group these three reviews together since they all have a colored base with large amounts of small silver glitter, so much so that the polish is essentially a full-coverage glitter polish. I LOVE that these  polishes are SO easy to remove, especially considering they are "glitter" polishes. I'm talking about without any type of glitter base too. I didn't need Nail Pattern Boldness' Glitter-A-Peel, piCture pOlish's own Revolution, not even the Elmer's glue trick. You don't even have to use the foil trick! I honestly just placed the soaked cotton ball (non-acetone remover) on my nail for maybe 5-10 seconds, wiped once, and lightly scrubbed off a few remaining glitters. These are the BEST GLITTERS EVER.

Up first, Dorothy, a candy apple red (leans more pink than yellow).

I used two coats here, no base or top coat.
Opacity: 2.5
Application: 5
Wear: 4
Removal: 4

Up next is Orbit, a dark indigo (very pigmented, and leans violet).

I used two coats here, except my pinky (I forgot to do a second coat there, oops!). No base or top coat.
Opacity: 2.5
Application: 5
Wear: 4
Removal: 4

Last is one of the latest colors from piCture pOlish, called Sea Jewel. It's the most beautiful sea green.

I did two coats here, no base or top coat.
Opacity: 2.5
Application: 5
Wear: 4
Removal: 4

I am never disappointed by their formulas. Their polishes are always great quality, so I never hesitate to pick up a couple new colors when I can!

*I am not afflilated with piCture pOlish.

piCture pOlish "Jade" Review (PIC HEAVY)

Hey everyone! Long time, no post, yeah? I guess I have a lot of catching up to do then! Since my last post, I've fallen more and more in love with piCture pOlish. Great for them, bad for my wallet, haha. Hey, at least it means I have more colors and swatches for all you gals (and guys)!
Today I thought I'd review one of their very popular colors called "Jade". This color is a lot different in person than what I've seen online, and I'm not sure even my camera could quite capture the true color of this polish. I will have a picture at the end of this review that has been edited to appear most like the actual shade. Until then:
Indoor lighting:

This and all following mani pictures are with three coats, no undies or toppers.
This polish is actually a lot brighter and a bit darker than it looks (almost neon).

This was the best I could do with the editing program I have. Sorry gals, I'm not one of the cool kids with Photoshop (Boo!).

Aaanyway, hope you enjoyed this quick review! Sending some sunshine until next time!

*I'll let you know when I'm finally affiliated with any of these polishes. Until then...you know the drill.

piCture pOlish Contest Prize Review (PIC HEAVY)

As some of you may know, I recently won a contest from piCture pOlish, and they sent me 6 of their full-size bottles direct from Down Under! I was SO excited when I received my package today!

I opened it up to find these beauties:

I will be reviewing them all in this post :)
I want to ask everyone forgiveness in advance as I am still learning how to fully clean up my manis. I promise  to do better with time! Also, I am going to use this post to try a new way to review. I'm not sure if I will keep it, so I would love feedback on what you think of the rating system! Rating system key will be in the side bar.

All six of these polishes have micro flecks of holographic sparkle, so I will only mention colors and any other glitter that each polish may contain besides the sparkle.

First up, Cosmos:
(Artificial light)
This polish is a vivid true blue.
Opacity: 3
Application: 5
Wear: 5

2 coats, no base or top:

Next is Hope a dark, (almost teal) navy with the very occasional cobalt hex glitter:

Two coats, no base or top:

Kyrptonite- of course I love the name of this one, I have been a Superman fan for quite a while!
This polish is a dark grass green (unfortunately no blue tint for the emerald lovers like me)
Opacity: 4
Application: 5
Wear: 5

This next color is tied for #1 on my list of Top 10 polishes.
Ocean, a bright Malibu blue.

Opacity: 2

Three coats, no base or top:

Stepping away from the blue and green tones, we have a very pretty stark red (think Essie's "Clambake") that shares the same name as Miss Scarlett. "I shall never go without nail polish again!"
That's not how it goes? Oh, well frankly my dears, I don't give a darn. Haha, just kidding ladies!

Opacity: 2.5
Application: 5
Wear: 5
Removal: 5

In artificial light:

In direct sunlight:

Two coats, no base or top:

The last polish is a stunning pink that depends on the light for it's undertones of blue or yellow.
The name is "Shocked" (by the power of looove!). Ahh, Kylie, the lovely Aussie.

Opacity: 2
Application: 5
Wear: 5

There you have it! What lovely prizes. I am so grateful to have won such a wonderful gift. I wish there was enough to go around!
I hope you enjoyed looking. If you would like to order these polishes, you can order them directly from piCture pOlish, however international shipping will be pretty hefty. I would suggest splitting an order with a friend or shopping on an indie website like Llarowe or Nail Polish Canada.

Love ya!
